MEET THE BAND

SHERRI N. DRUMMER

Originally from Bon Jovi’s hometown of Sayreville, NJ, and now based at the Jersey Shore, Sherri has been playing drums for over 50 years—and plans to keep going as long as she can hold the sticks. She began creating beats on her mother’s pots and pans at age 12, and by 13 received her first pink champagne drum set.

Sherri and her brother Eddie formed a group called Just Us and, in 1969, won first place at a talent expo at the Garden State Arts Center, performing in front of thousands. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for music, leading her to perform in school talent shows and teach young students how to play drums.

Over the years, Sherri has played with numerous bands, including Lady Luck, 20th Century Fox, The All Nighters Band, and Shoresyde Band, performing at clubs, festivals, weddings, wineries, stadiums, and private events throughout New Jersey. Today, she proudly keeps the beat for the Jersey Shore band Coastal Vibe.

Her influences include Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, Santana, Elton John, Hall & Oates, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, Sade, and many more.

Her drumming inspirations are Buddy Rich, Sheila E, and Karen Carpenter.

MARTI FARRO LEAD VOCALIST

Marti Farro joined Coastal Vibe as lead vocalist in August 2023. Born and raised in Hudson and Bergen Counties, New Jersey, she discovered her love for singing at a young age. After seeing Ann Wilson of Heart perform at age 11, Marti knew she wanted to be a rock singer who gave audiences “goosebumps."

She performed for churches, schools, and charities before writing original music with New Jersey rock band Dayzanu. Marti later spent three years in Nashville, releasing her solo album Country First and touring Iceland, Europe, and the southeastern U.S.

Now living in Ocean County, NJ, Marti brings powerful vocals, nonstop energy, and a dynamic stage presence to Coastal Vibe—keeping crowds entertained and dancing all night long.

PAUL MANN BASS GUITAR

Paul has been blessed with a rich musical journey spanning 50+ years of learning, performing, and refining his skills on bass and keyboards. He learned to read music in grammar school and played Hammond organ for Sunday masses at St. Ambrose in Old Bridge, NJ. Growing up in the ’60s, he was inspired by the era’s music—especially progressive rock and the powerful role of electric bass. In high school, he saved up for his first bass, a 1974 Fender Precision, and taught himself by listening to and emulating the great players of the time.

In the late ’70s, Paul moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University as a science major while working in the faculty music department. Mentored by faculty musicians, he developed a deeper appreciation for composition, theory, classical, jazz, world music, and live performance. After returning to New Jersey in 1989, he continued recording and performing with bands throughout NJ and eastern PA.

Before joining Coastal Vibe in late 2025, Paul played keyboards for Ventura Boulevard, Splintered Wood, Vinyl Tap, and Beginnings, and bass for Shoresyde, On the Air, JunkYard Dawgs, and Tired Starlings. His approach is simple: play with high intensity, whether the crowd is five or five hundred—and always have fun.

BILL WALDRON LEAD GUITAR

Bill is multitalented on Lead, Rhythm, Slide, Guitar Synthesizer and Open tuned electric and acoustic guitar. He also plays 5 and 6 string banjos as well as harmonica and vocals.

Bill brings decades of playing experience to the show. In his travels he has played with Bonnie Pointer of the Pointer Sisters. He has also played opening shows for Marshall Tucker Band, Cheap Trick, Corky Lang and Jefferson Starship.

Matt enjoys all types of music – Jazz, fusion, blues, rock, country, oldies, swing and pop. Matt had the opportunity to open up for Johnny Maestro and The Brooklyn Bridge on 2 occasions. Once in 1981 with The Mystics and then in 1992 with Vito and the Salutations.
